It seems so arrogant, but indeed the one who is needier have to come to those who can be asked for help, especially if those who can be asked for help have a higher status in society.
Have you ever had friends who have a feud and when you give them an advise to just give in and complement each other, but one of them said “it’s not me, I’m not guilty so why do I have to apologize, just forget it! If she needs me one day, she will come and apologize”. Nah…
If someone asks “when will you wear a hijab?” and the answer is “I haven’t got guidance (hidayah) yet so I will wear hijab for my heart first”. Nah…
When we are on the final exam or applying for a job, I am sure we are all become closer to Allah. We never leave praying five times, fasting, and reading Qur’an, we do it all! We do it all so that Allah grants our wishes to pass the exam or get the job we want. After what we want is fulfilled, we forget and slowly we move away from Allah. We tend to take Allah’s blessings for granted. Astaghfirullah.
How about hidayah? We are the one who most needs it, so don’t wait until Allah give it to us, but what we can do to get it. Hidayah comes so fast, comes anytime and from anywhere but how our heart can catch it. Sometimes we know, our heart expect it but not with our logic.
In Hadith Qudsi Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wassalam said, that Allah said:
“O My servant, if the people of the past and the last of you, all human and jinn, they are taqwa like the most taqwa person among you, it will not add to My Power in the slightest. If the previous people and the last of you, all human and jinn, they are evil-hearted like the evilest of you, it will not reduce My Power in the least too.” (HR. Muslim No.2577)
And also Allah said in the Qur’an Surah Muhammad: 38,
“Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.”
“There is no loss for Allah, If we are taqwa (devout) or not, it did not in any way to diminish His Power.
So WHO ARE NEEDY?
Wallahu a’lam
